 Who are we?

ESN-IPCoimbra is a non-for-profit youth organization that provides creates and provides help to international students coming to Coimbra for an exchange study program.

Our work is provided were the International office's can't reach, so resuming, we provide all the help you need outside of your classroom in Coimbra.

ESN-IPCoimbra started in the year 2008 with the necessity to help international students from higher education institutes and schools who required different type of help do to several factors that differentiates these students from the one's coming to study at the university of Coimbra.

Such factors are a broad geographical disposition of these schools, the fact that each school has it's own and different academic agenda, each school has it's own independent international relations office, among several others wich then led to the creation of this organization.

What do we do?

We help every international student, without differentiating, to adapt and live it's exchange program at it's best possible. Either through arranging a buddie (portuguese student wich will give you personalized help) or helping students find a room for their period of stay, these are just some of the many ways that we help.

Why do we do it?

ESN-IPCoimbra is a non-for-profit organization in which none of it's members gets paid or enriches throught the organization.

So every thing we do, we do it has volunteers and to be able to share with you the wonderful experience of the multi-cultural world that we all want to live in someday.

Our members are either ex-international students that received the same help has we provide now, or students which just love to meet new people, new cultures and new experiences.
